This screen provides a detailed analysis of your facility’s performance by sales channel. You can view key metrics such as Occupancy, RNS (Room Nights Sold), ADR (Average Daily Rate), RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room), and their interrelationships in an intuitive graphical display. For explanations of individual metrics, see this article.

All amounts can be shown as nominal values or percentages.

In the upper-left corner, select the data recording date — the point in time from which data is observed. You can choose today’s date or any past date.

Analyze data on a monthly or annual basis. On the right, select the specific month or year for analysis.

Metrics can be displayed in gross or net amounts, on an annual or monthly level, and in OTB (On-the-Books) or Actuals mode.

SPIT (Same Point in Time): Compare data with the same period from a previous year for meaningful year-over-year insights.

In the table view, you can track the performance of sales channels using five key metrics, displayed in both OTB (On-the-Books, representing all reservations regardless of check-in/check-out status) and Actuals (checked-out reservations) modes. Variances between the two selected years are shown as percentages.

The second graph allows you to compare the performance of two selected sales channels. Select the channels on the left, then choose the metrics to display for those channels from the dropdown on the right. You can also select how to view reservations — either OTB (On-the-Books) or Actuals.

Example 1:

We compare two sales channels: Booking.com and Direct Bookings:

  • Booking.com: Price €80, 90% occupancy

  • Direct Bookings: Price €120, 40% occupancy

At first glance, the higher price of direct bookings suggests higher revenue. However, calculating the total revenue per room shows:

  • Booking.com: €80 × 90% = €72 per room

  • Direct Bookings: €120 × 40% = €48 per room

Result: Despite the lower price, Booking.com generates higher revenue per room.

Example 2

  • Gross Revenue: Room + breakfast + parking = €150

  • Net Revenue: Room only = €100

A channel may show higher gross revenue due to additional services, while another channel may have a higher room rate but lower total revenue from extra

All metrics are interconnected. Reviewing a single metric in isolation can give an incomplete or misleading view of performance.
