What Are Yield Levels?
Yield levels are predefined rules that automatically increase or decrease your base prices based on demand or other factors. For example:
HIGH (+30%) - high demand periods, weekends, holidays
LOW (-15%) - low season, weekdays
PROMO (-20%) - special promotions
Yield levels are created and managed in the Yield Levels section. Clicking the Add Yield Level button opens a sidebar where you define:
The name of the yield level
A three-character code
A color
A percentage or fixed (nominal) increase or decrease
What Do the Numbers Represent?
This section explains what each number displayed on the Yielding tab stands for.
The number in the upper right corner shows the availability for that unit type. Above the current price (price with applied yield level), you'll see the base price.
Top number - Available units
Top price - Base price
Bottom price - Final price (yield applied)
Color - Yield level type
Deleting a Yield Level
Deleting a yield level does not immediately remove it from dates where it has already been applied. Specifically:
It remains active on all dates where it was previously applied
It remains available for replacing in bulk edit for changes
It is removed from the yield level list and cannot be applied to new dates
Yield levels can be reordered at any time using drag and drop.
How to Apply a Yield Level
Yield levels can be applied in three ways: through bulk edit, by clicking and dragging across the calendar, or by clicking on a single date.
Select the period you want to apply a yield level to, then choose the desired yield level from the pop-up that appears. The pop-up will list all available yield levels along with the base price and calculated final price.
Clicking the bulk edit icon opens a sidebar where you can define the date range, unit types, rate plans, yield level, and optionally the number of units for sale.
In the list view, you can easily apply a yield level for a specific period for all unit types and rate plans.
Removing yield level
To cancel the yield level on a certain day or period, you need to mark the day/period by dragging the mouse and then click on Clear yield level. Once the yield level is removed, the base price will be applied.
The same can be done in the list view.
