Folio deactivation

In some cases, expenses on folio won't be charged to the guests and you can use folio deactivation to set the final balance to correct amount.

You can transfer these expenses to another folio and deactivate.

How to deactivate a folio?

  1. Open the folio you want to deactivate.

  2. Actions → Deactivate folio.

3. After deactivating the folio, the system will display a message, including the time and name of the person who deactivated the folio.

When a folio is deactivated, it will no longer be included in statistics or the reservation balance and won’t unnecessarily be in focus for billing.

It is not possible to make any stay modifications on a deactivated folio, reducing the risk of errors or working on the wrong folio. Additionally, expenses from your restaurant or bar cannot be posted to a deactivated folio.

If needed, you can reactivate the folio with a single click and continue working on it without interruption.

How to reactivate a folio?

If you need to use a deactivated folio again:

  1. Open the folio you want to reactivate.

  2. Actions → Reactivate folio.

If you want the system to automatically deactivate the folio upon cancellation or no show, you can enable it in the Settings.

Settings → General → Reservations → mark Yes in the setting below;
