Rentlio calendar provides an intuitive and easy view of all reservations prices restrictions and information of your property in one place.

Price management and invoicing can also be done directly from the calendar. You can add new reservation directly into Calendar, as well as update it, cancel it or issue an invoice for it by simply clicking on the graphic display of the reservation.

Previously, the calendar contained information about availability, price and minimum stay, but over time, as we allowed other restrictions and possibilities to be set through the Rentlio calendar, we developed a beta calendar. Now, the latest version of the calendar offers the ability to select the data you want to see when viewing your property's calendar, and you can view the data horizontally by months with infinite scroll:

You can access the calendar from the menu on the left side of the application. The calendar clearly shows each Unit type with the corresponding accommodation unit that you have created in the property settings.

Customize the look and content of your calendar through its settings - through different views. Above the calendar, select one of the views, and then, depending on which view is selected, clicking the Settings icon will open the right, side menu so you can edit and customize it.

On each view, you can choose which information you want to see (always) on your calendar, and exclude those you don't want to see, thus reducing the amount of data on your calendar, according to your own preferences.

Important: Team rights for team members have an impact on the final layout of the calendar, depending on team rights assigned to the team member from the main Rentlio account.

In the menu, you can update the display size (calendar line density), color intensity; define the color, position, shape and information with the reservation, select the display depending on the status of the check-in / check-out, as well as choose whether to display or remove the raster and payment status, set visible or not price lists and restrictions.

Whichever way you choose which option to change, this is saved and it is visible on the calendar on Your screen. You can also reset everything by clicking RESET or delete the view by clicking DELETE at the bottom of the menu

When the display settings are set and by selecting one or the other display by clicking on the name above the calendar, we change the layout according to the settings of each.

On the very top of the calendar you have an insight of the total unoccupied units available within the entire property, with the colours shifting from green to red depending on the number of available units (green being the biggest and red the smallest number of units available). These two features are read-only, therefore, they serve as an information-only data.

When you hover over the name of a particular rate plan, restriction or type of accommodation unit, a pencil icon will appear to the right of the name. Clicking on that pencil opens an edit window on the right side of the screen. If you want to change the availability, prices or minimum stay at the accommodation unit type level, click on the Unit Type name inside the calendar header (or on the pencil), opening the settings of that type in the right side menu. Apply the changes in the desired period, save them by selecting the Save changes button, and see the changes being applied to your calendar.

If you select the name of the Standard rate plan from the header, you only edit the price and restrictions at the level of that unit type.

When defining the price, in addition to the classic setting of a new price for a certain period, you can increase or decrease the price in relation to the current price for a certain nominal or percentage amount:

Once added, you can easily remove the settings at the desired time period by selecting the Remove option at the bottom of the menu. Example:

What so special about the new look of the calendar is, definitely is the management of multiple self-created rate plans on Rentlio - read more about this in the article Managing multiple price lists and restrictions from the calendar.

You can create a new reservation directly on the calendar, but you can also update it, cancel or issue an invoice by simply clicking on the reservation. Read more about entering reservations here.

An additional benefit is the choice of displaying all or only some types of units on the calendar, and within each type or rate plan, clicking on the small arrow opens a drop-down menu with more details. By clicking on Select unit type, you can select which types you want to see on the calendar, and which you may exclude from the display. You can see the set rate plan restrictions by selecting the arrow next to the rate plan name directly on the calendar, and you can update them by clicking on the name.
