What is the Rentlio referral program?

The Rentlio referral program allows active users (owners of Rentlio user accounts) to recommend Rentlio to others and receive rewards in the form of Rentlio credits, which can be used to lower the subscription fee they pay.

Each user has a unique referral link available in their profile settings under the section "REFERRAL PROGRAM". This link can be shared freely and without limits with friends, colleagues, family members, partners, and business contacts.

How to get your unique referral link?

Step 1: Log in to Rentlio

Step 2: Click on your profile in the top right corner

Step 3: Open the section "REFERRAL PROGRAM" from the dropdown menu

Step 4: Copy your unique referral link

Step 5: Share it with friends and colleagues

All active Rentlio users will also receive their referral link by email.

How does the program work?

1. Sharing the link

  • Each Rentlio user copies their unique referral link and shares it via social media, messages, email, or any other channel.

2. New user visit

  • When a person who is not yet a Rentlio user clicks the link, they are redirected to a page with a contact form to schedule a meeting with the Rentlio team.

3. Subscription activation by the new user

  • After the person schedules and completes the meeting and becomes an active Rentlio user by activating a subscription, the existing user whose referral link was used becomes eligible for a reward in the form of Rentlio credits.

What are Rentlio credits?

Rentlio credits represent a value earned by the user who shares the referral link, based on the number of new users they refer. A new user is defined as a person who activates a subscription and has an active Rentlio account.

For each new user who activates a subscription through a referral link, the referrer earns Rentlio credits equal to 20 percent of the total amount invoiced to that user during the following six months, provided the new user pays six consecutive monthly subscriptions without cancellation.

Each new user who activates a subscription through the referral program receives 50 percent off the first two months of their subscription.

How can the referrer check credit status and use credits to lower their subscription?

When a referred user activates a subscription, the referrer receives an email notification confirming that Rentlio credits are being accumulated.

Once the referred user completes six consecutive months of active subscription, the referrer receives an email with the total amount of earned Rentlio credits and instructions on how to apply them to reduce their subscription fee.

How does the new user receive and use the referral discount?

A new user who activates a subscription through the referral program receives a promo code by email. The code is entered in the field "Do you have a promo code?" when activating the subscription after the trial period.

The promo code applies a 50 percent discount to the first two months of the active Rentlio subscription.

How are credits calculated?

All active Rentlio users, including those who join through the referral program, are included in the calculation as long as they actively use the platform and pay their subscription without interruption.

Example calculation:

Ana shares her referral link with her colleague Mark.

Mark activates a subscription for two units at 30 EUR per month.

First two months with a 50 percent discount: 15 EUR + 15 EUR = 30 EUR

Next four months: 30 EUR x 4 = 120 EUR

Total paid over six months: 150 EUR

Ana receives Rentlio credits equal to 20 percent of 150 EUR, which is 30 EUR in Rentlio credits, and can use them to lower her subscription fee.

Credits are granted immediately after the referred user completes six consecutive months of active subscription. The referrer receives an email confirmation and can apply the credits to the next subscription invoice.

What happens if there is a payment issue?

If the referred user misses a payment and the account becomes past due, they have 14 days to complete payment and continue using Rentlio. If payment is completed within this period, the credit calculation continues as planned.

If the referred user cancels the subscription before completing six consecutive months, the referrer does not earn credits for that user.

Important notes

  • Rentlio determines subscription pricing internally based on the number of accommodation units. A higher number of units results in a lower price per unit.

  • Rentlio credits can only be used while the referrer has an active subscription. If the subscription is permanently canceled, all unused credits are forfeited.

  • Credits can be applied to monthly subscriptions without limit. However, the monthly subscription amount cannot be lower than 1 EUR plus VAT due to legal requirements.

  • Rentlio credits are valid for 12 months from the date they are granted.

  • Referral links can be shared anywhere, including private messages, social media, email, forums, and similar platforms.

  • There is no limit to the number of referrals.

  • Rewards are granted only if the new user schedules a meeting with the Rentlio team through a referral link and becomes an active paying user.

  • Rentlio reserves the right to change referral program terms, including reward percentages and values, with prior notice to users.
