Inside Rentlio Booking Engine settings there are multiple payment methods you can choose for guests booking accommodation on your website.

Credit Card

  • If you choose the Credit Card option, the guest is required to enter their credit card details when making a reservation.

  • However, it’s important to note that the card is not automatically verified — the system only collects the card information and stores it with the reservation.

  • The reservation is charged using your own POS terminal.

  • To access the card details, you need to enter a PIN within the reservation interface in Rentlio. You can find instructions for setting up your PIN here.

  • Important: Card details are available for up to 4 days after the guest's check-out, so make sure to process the payment within that time frame.

Bank Transfer

  • If the guest selects Bank Transfer, they will independently transfer the payment amount to your bank account after making the reservation.

  • Until the payment is received, the reservation will have an “option” status and will not be automatically confirmed.

  • Once the payment is received on the account (entered in the Rentlio Booking Engine settings), you manually confirm the reservation on the calendar and issue an advanced payment invoice if needed.

Payment Gateway

If you are using an integrated online card payment system (e.g., Monri, Stripe, M2Pay, or another provider listed in the Rentlio interface), you can charge the guest’s card in advance — either partially or in full.

The method and timing of the charge are defined in the settings of the Rentlio Booking Engine, based on the policies you have set.

Monri

You need to be registered to Monri (provide RBE link for the registration) and use Your API key and Authenticity token.

Save settings and check-mark Monri as payment method.

The guest will add his credit card details on the final step to confirm his booking on Your Web page; a Monri pop-up window will open so he can accept all details and complete the booking process.

Reservation will appear on Your Rentlio calendar, with an option to charge the reservation amount manually.

Stripe

For Stripe the process is the same as above explained, simply add Your Secret API key and Published API key on Rentlio Booking Engine settings.

Once activated, the payment method can be selected and used on RBE.

On Your Rentlio calendar, You will be able to charge the card:

M2Pay

Once you receive the Booking Engine, PMS merchant ID and signature key from M2Pay you need to insert those values under the Booking engine settings in Payments.

Activate M2Pay as the payment method on the list

When you receive a new reservation from the Rentlio booking engine, you need to charge it according to your cancellation policy. You may charge the credit card right from the calendar. Open the received reservation and click on the card icon.

Enter the amount and charge it. All transactions will be placed under the Transaction tab.

WSPay

In order to activate WSpay, You need to enter the details provided by them within the Booking Engine payment section as well as to select the supported cards

After saving the settings, don't forget to activate WSPay as payment method

Worldline

After finalizing everything with Worldline, you can activate it in Rentlio.

All of the above can be found on the Worldline portal under Settings in the main menu.

For the Terminal ID and Customer ID, select Payment Means & Terminals from the side menu and find the Customer ID and Terminal ID next to the card icons, as shown below:

You can create the API credentials by clicking on JSON API Basic Authentication in the side menu. In the newly opened window, click Create new JSON API login:

After clicking Create new JSON API login, a window will open where you need to enter a Password.

IMPORTANT: Make sure to remember this password, as you will need to enter it later in Rentlio.

After creating the JSON API login, the Username will be generated automatically.

Once you have all the required information, you can enter it in the payment settings of the Rentlio Booking Engine.

Click on Edit for Worldline:

Next step is to enter the Customer ID, Terminal ID, and API credentials from the Worldline portal, select the allowed card types, and save the changes:
