Multi-factor authentication (2FA) provides an additional layer of security by requiring an extra form of verification beyond just your password.

To enhance the protection of your account, enable 2FA in your account settings. First, install the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device from Google Play or the App Store. After downloading the app, activate multi-factor authentication in your Rentlio account by following the instructions below.

  1. Click on your initials in the top-right corner of the screen and open Account settings

2. In the section "Multifactor Authentication (2FA)," click on Enable 2FA

3. A new window will appear. Follow the instructions within:

> Open the Google Authenticator app. In the lower right corner of the screen, tap the plus sign, then select "Scan a QR code." The camera will open, allowing you to scan the QR code displayed in Rentlio. Once you scan the QR code, a six-digit code will be generated. Enter this code in the designated field in Rentlio. Please note that the code refreshes every 30 seconds.

After entering the code in Rentlio and clicking the Confirm button, your multifactor authentication will be activated.

The next time you log out of your Rentlio profile and sign in again, the system will prompt you for an authentication code following your email and password entry.

You will find the authentication code in your Google Authenticator application.

Rentlio Mobile Application

We’ve introduced an additional security step in the mobile application to match the security level of the web version.

After entering your username and password in the mobile app, you will be prompted to enter your multifactor authentication (2FA) code to continue using the app securely.
