Minimum and Maximum Allowed Price

Set price limits in the rate plan settings and protect yourself from manual entry errors on the calendar.

Written by Jasmina Petani

In Rentlio, you can set a minimum and maximum allowed price for each rate plan. This setting acts as a safeguard against manual entry errors — for example, if you accidentally leave out a digit and enter a price significantly lower than intended.

Where to set it up?

Go to Property Settings → Rate Plans and open the rate plan you want to edit.

In the general rate plan settings, you'll find the Minimum / Maximum Price section with the MIN PRICE and MAX PRICE fields. Enter the desired amounts and click Save.

How does it work on the calendar?

Once the limits are set, when entering prices directly on the calendar:

  • it will not be possible to enter a price lower than the minimum or higher than the maximum

  • if you try to enter a price outside the allowed range, a warning will appear letting you know that the entered price is below or above the defined limit

This feature is especially useful for teams where multiple people manage pricing, as well as for anyone who wants an extra layer of protection against manual entry mistakes.
